Oscilloscope pictures of the Sopht amp

Well, after what seems like forever, I finally got around to putting an Oscilloscope on the Sopht amp. Click here to see the gory details:

Basically, I get a very clean first stage, some compression at the 2nd stage and power tube distortion. The output is a whopping 31mW which is expected from these tubes at 12V.

BTW, this amp can be easily turned into a direct box amp or a stompbox by using the following dummy load design.  Simply use 8ohm as the dummy load (instead of the 4ohm in the diagram). 1/4 watt resistor should be more than enough for the 8ohm dummy load (as the amp pumps out 31mW!).
