Stomp Switch causing the pop?

Ok. I built the Small Clone Chorus at Tonepad (VERY nice chorus, BTW), but I'm getting the popping when I hit the stompswitch on/off.
I read the suggestions and tried a 1M res. at the input/output of the circuit board, connecting to ground: it still pops.
Is it likely that I have a bad DPDT? (does it happen that often?)

Any other suggestions would be great.
