Hi

I just built an Idiot Wah, but i get very low volume from the effect. I have to turn my 30W amp to 10 to hear something. The supply voltage somehow doesn't change after the 10k resistor. I used two 2N3904 for the darlington.
Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks!

Bump

I found out that reversing or removing the transistors or disconnecting the battery doesn't make any difference.

EDIT: Ah, i have put the 1M resistors in place of the 500k's. And i got 100k resistors from the shop instead of 500k. Will 100k be ok? I doubt it...

EDIT #2: I put all the resistors to their right places now, but now there's complete silence. The transistor voltages are:

C= 4.28
B= 2.09
E= 4.28

So there's obviously something wrong at the emitter, right? Would someone please say something about this, i feel so stupid typing this here on my own... :lol:
