hey all,
since +ve gnd stompboxes are unable to use the more commonly used -ve gnd stompboxes power supplies, is it possible to create an inbuilt circuit within the +ve gnd stompbox to reverse the gnd of the -ve gnd power supply? So that the -ve gnd power supply is used to power the +ve gnd stompbox, something like a inverter within the circuit...

Thanks in adv to all..

Check at GEO, maybe something you can use there...[?]

yeah, the spyder is the best solution.

The reason the different supply polaritys is a problem is because of the association between the signal ground and the power supply ground. You could acheive what you are asking, but it would require isolating the signal grounds, which may lead to more noise.

I guess it's obvious but if you have a bipolar supply (+9v, -9v) you could merely use the -9v side to power a positive ground box.
