I need an ISD1000A for "Loopy," Dean Hazelwanter's new looper pedal (GGG under modulation). However, as he mentioned in his post, he cleaned out the city I live in, and so I need to look elsewhere for them.

I tried to locate some using radioshack's website--miserable failure. Anyone out there have some extras that they would sell and/or know anywhere that has a bunch?

Thanks for any help. Although I expect that most replies might be more of a "me too" nature, as always seems to happen with all "I need THIS" sort of threads.

I ordered 2 at $5 each from this place last week:

www.smcelectronics.com

I have not gotten them yet, they are in the mail.  I was hoping to test them before posting this information, just so I could comment on whether or not they are functional.

I have had a very good experience ordering them so far.  Shipping is a little high, but the price per chip is very reasonable for something so totally obsolete.

Here's a tip:  use Froogle for parts searches.  Just put in the part number or name and hit the Froogle search and it will turn up a nice list of sources (or one in this case), but it is super fast for locating parts.

Sorry, I didn't realize that was an obsolete IC chip.

EDIT: Has anyone checked with Small Bear to see if he has them?
