Anybody use RG's LERA or other speed shifter?

Ok, so I'm looking into the Leslie sound, which I think is made totally awesome by the speed transition that comes from the mechanical advice.  I would like to hear from people who have built the LERA or other such pedal and what their experiences are.  Soundclips would be great too (I love Aural Porn... :oops: ).  

2nd question in same post:
Umm...I'm planning on building a Ross Phaser and a Tremulus Lune and want to be able to ramp speeds up and down, and need some instruction on the LERA build (or similar pedal...).  

1.  Is that picture on GEO's site (for the separate LERA box) indicating a 3rd jack coming from the existing effect?

2.  I've heard some people weren't happy with the LERA's transistion speeds...were those issues resolved, and how?
