Sample-hold for the ultimate expression pedal (to trigger a McMeat)

Hi, shame on me for asking... my knowledge in electronics is quite limited. 

I'm building an "ultimate expression pedal", which includes the actual treadle control, an lfo copy-pasted from the tremulus lune and as there is still room inside and I love the maestro sample/hold I would like to include also this feature.

so, now... how can the maestro circuit be tweaked in order to drive the 2 vactrols + 1LED of the McMeat??

is the 3906 enough or I need to take the signal from its output and "amplify" it with another transistor?

I'm asking instead of trying because I burned my MAX1044 somehow (after using a 2n4402 as noise transistor...)
