since im new to this, ive not been able to utilize small bear electronics because its revamping and such as of late. i hear great things about it. however, since it's down, where else is the press n peel blue material offered? i found the manufacturer's site but i figured there had to be a retailer somewhere who is selling it for less. thanks!

Steve's opening this week... Hold on a little longer.

PressnPeel is never sold cheap.
I guess the manufacturer must be a relatively small company that just doesn't play the marketing games that make the prices of everything else wobble.
But in the meantime, for practice, why not try to do it with high grade coated paper, the type used for making colored prints from a computer printer?

and about 2000 other places.
plus endless stuff on this board, if you search!!
Good luck & tell us how it goes.

Check out this link . . . you can get the same effect of the 'blue transfer paper' for significantly less.  I have done several boards using this method and it works great . . . . all using a photo paper from staples!

wow.... great link. very lengthy but i actually read the entire thing, all very informative. the paper is cheap, and if it doesnt work you can still use the pcb, so why not try it? thanks a lot for the suggestion, man!

I use the photo paper all the time, and it works great, but the cheaper stuff fails on bigger transfers  :(
