I am fixing a AT small diaphram condensor and I located the problem to a transistor. It says K660 H96M on it. I cant find any info on it anywhere. Does anyone know what this is and what can replace it?

A lot of 2SK fets just skip the 2S part. Try 2SK660?

Good luck!

Do you know where I can find a replacement, or find something to replace it with?

That's the data sheet, if anyone wants to suggest an equivalent.
The main thing is probably the low capacitance. But I suppose anything the DIY microphone guys use would be OK.

Thanks but i have already seen that. WIll any J-Fet work?

Hi!

I don't know about the Jfet, but I can tell you don't ever touch the diafragm!
