It's a desirable item, for people doing the funk thing.
I'm sure you could exchange it for something you need!
If you were in Austraila I'd swap for it in a blink.

Looks like it could be in a movie or a museum.
Or an 'Experience the Old West' freeway distractions on Rt. 66.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

hehe- i agree. I think i read somewhere last night where it is in some type of museaum...

It's the sort of thing that might have been used in the 60's to accompany someone on a Rhodes or other electric piano, which you used your left hand to do basslines, while you comped on the piano with your right. Check out Ray Manzerek from the Doors in any live footage.

If it works, I'm sure it's very collectible. It looks awesome.

Damn! I just thought that it looked like there might be some goods parts in it. Its incased in this box thing. The old guy at the garage sale said it worked but needed a power cord. I liked that it was shiney red. Any idea what it might sell for? I didnt see any of them on ebay.

Ebay it & then spend the money on parts from Aron & SmallBear.

no no no, you should def keep it and use it...all the time.  better idea: build a soundlabs mini-synth and mod that to be its controller.  holy crap that would be AMAZING!!! you could strap it around your neck on stage and be all cool.  wow....thats a great plan.
