ROG supreaux tone pot acting like - volume?

I made the Supreaux some time ago and boxed it yesterday but I noticed
that the tone pot didn't quite work like it should - it worked more or less like a volume pot. Anybody else had similar problem?

There's nothing exotic about the implementation of the Supreaux's Tone control, so I suspect that a wiring error may be the cause.
