problem w ampeg scrambler clone

I had it working a few minutes and then nothing but radio station.? Anyone else have this problem? Can it be the 1n914 dioded? A bad electro cap?

Does it get anything besides radio station now?  Does it always work for a couple minutes and then go to radio station, or did it just stop working all together.

Could something have moved and caused a short/other mechanical problem?

My scrambler worked after I fixed a dumb wiring error (I'd connected the gate and emitter of Q2), and is noise free for me.

it worked perfect at 1st and noise free than i  prob moved something. I looked back over and still no good. I was amazed how well it did sound at 1st when it was working. Sounds very cool. I thought i might have burned something out. I think im going to socket the diodes and use the suggested ones.
