I was searching the internet looking for some mods to try on a Crybaby wah, and I stumbled upon http://www.robertkeeley.com/product.php?id=22 .  On this site he says "As part of our mods we install a internal trimmer potentiometer to control the output volume so that there is no volume drop when your wah is engaged." I would love to have this feature on my Crybaby but would rather do the modification myself. Anybody out there have any ideas on what would be the best way to achive simular results?????
Thanks

You might check the 68K input resistor and the 470 ohm resistor off of q1 i think...  Lowering the 68k i think will increase volume, lowering 470 will increase gain.  Probably just throw a 100k trim at the input or something.

You could try this link:

There are a few different mods here, one of which involves adding an output buffer, that includes a trimpot for the purpose you're after.

I've done it and it's a cool mod.

I agree w incubus- they are great mods. I believe the output buffer is the same thing. I believe it was intended for the problem with use of a fuzz.
"I think somebody should come up with a way to breed a very large shrimp. That way, you could ride him, then after you camped at night, you could eat him. How about it, science?"

Definitly throw the output buffer/vol trim curcuit in there if you are using low input impedance effects after it.
