Would it be easy to add an FX loop into a Standard Boss Effect like the AW-2? I'm a bassist, and whenever I turn the AW-2 on I lose so much Bass it's unreal. Was wondering How easy it is to put an FX loop into it like the Q-Tron+ or the Original Marshall Guv'Nor has. Or even just a Bass Boost mod, that won't drop my low end. Something that is easily reversible if possible :P

Thanks guys.

Try searching for "blender" or "paralooper" in the forums.

I found this thread with some links to different blenders. These will mix your dry signal with the wet from the effect, letting you keep the low end to your signal.

And here is a link to the paralooper with some soundclips

bass paralooper my friend.

I always try to avoid modifying things wherever I can, and the paralooper does a number of jobs without requiring any mods to stock pedals.

Also, I think raising the input and output capacitance will increasehow much bass is actually put through the effect, which could help prevent the auto wah from becoming too subtle when you blend it with a dry signal.

Where can I get one of these paraloopers? How much do they cost or where can I find a Layout?

And thanks for the advice about the capictance. ;)

You're welcome, its "on my list" so I can reduce some chorus/flanger
pedals "wetness" ... some just dont allow enough 'dry' gtr through !!

I understand your problem. Everytime I hit the AW2 I think someones turned my amp off ;)

And I see you're a fellow Londoner! Nice to meet ya! :P
