Just picked up a 1 pound spool of this stuff for $4.  Good shit!  I like it alot, not as "runny" as 60/40.  Thicker and easier to control.

Thanks to whomever posted on this stuff awhile back.

I'm about to buy some solder, and see that some people seem to only use 63/37 while others say they use it with 60/40.  Do both refer to tin/lead combinations?  Where does the silver come into play -- I've heard it's not as good to work with.. were you guys referring to silver/lead solder?  So my main question is that if 63/37 is so great, why do some people still seem to continue using the 60/40 stuff?  ..Or are they all about to stick with 63/37 once their 60/40 is all gone?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Peter.  I thought I had read all the solder threads, but a few escaped me -- and R.G. had some great things to add in this one:

I'm completely sold on the 63/37 solder now  :)
