The treble works fine here , and you are corretc in Bass , mine don't work well i dunno why , sometimes work sometimes works a little , im going to check , Btw  Original pots works well, but if you change whit lower value can be unestable

i change the pots to your values and the LM386 is heat , please do not put more Bigger Cap on Drive 1K or 2 is ok .....

You had 1k on your drive pot? You mean pot when you say cap, right (there are no 1K caps....  ;-))? I see that you have put 1K pot on the latest drawing, but on the latest schematics (1.0f) it says 5k... Just to let you know
