Granted, the "flow" of electricity/electrons can B compared 2 water.
But, the "water analogy" can't explain transformers, resistors, capacitors,
or semiconductor devices or how they "react" to "water".
the "water" example is only used in  the teaching of "basic" electricity.
As stated by others, water has no magnetic fiield,
and, water has no analogy to frequency or frequency dependence.

You definitely can.  For the simplest example pipe friction is resistance.

Not true.    Electricity, Mechanics, Fluids and Acoustics all have analogs between each other. You don't need a magnetic field - there's analogues for fields as well.   Analysing vibrations for example is all about the frequency response from the thing that is vibrating to the thing that is being vibrated - no electronics involved.

I suggest people do web searches on frequency response of things other than electronics.  You might be surprised  how wide spread this stuff is.

According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.

As a Nobel prizewinner and well-known public figure, the physicist Richard Feynman was regularly bombarded with letters from people anxious to disprove relativity, the 'existence' of atoms, the laws of thermodynamics, or to prove supernatural forces and energies or the existence of perpetual-motion or time machines, etc.

He once commented that he could immediately spot a letter from a 'nut' because of the tendency to overstretch the use of an analogy, e.g. between water and electricity.

Present company, beware.

H2O has phase allbeit one direction. This is mediated by gravity and air pressure over H2O. In a gravity free environment more than one phase direction could be propigated(I'm theorizing). Phase in electricity is a differance of angle when represented graphicly. Imagine sending two sockwaves down the same direction through tank of water but perpindicular to each other.
Even on earth within a wave water molecules can move within wave in differant  directions. Water at the molecular level moves in circular paths. Even when the wave is moving forward the H2O can move in other direction.
Here's a good analogy. Gravity is relative to bottom of tank. One tank is at
0 degrees and the other is 90 degrees from 1st tank. Keep in mind gravity is relative to the bottom of tank for this. If you propigate a wave in each tank flowing in the same direction they would be 90 degrees out of phase. It doesn't work in reality because gravity is comming from one place and not two. If one tank was upside down they would be 180 degrees out of phase.
Phase in electricity is more complicated than this mind you.

I'm with Toneman.  It's a pretty interesting discussion, but if I may...

An analogy, at least in the case of the water analogy, is a tool used to make a concept more comprehensible by relating phenomena one is familiar with to phenomena one wishes to understand.  Analogies generally are quite efficient at descibing basic principles, but there is a point where an analogy can become just as complex as the concept that it is meant to illuminate. This is particularly true when one attempts to describe every aspect of a subject in minute detail by analogy.

We all know that water is wet, it flows downhill, it goes through pipes, etc.  However, unless you were raised in a home where particle physics shared dinnertime conversation with subjects such as "What I did today" and "Mom, Tommy flipped a green bean in my eye", then reference to the phase of a dihydrogen oxide molecule will likely cause more confusion then if the student just didn't ask the question in the first place.  If you have to do a web search to understand the analogy, you've probably carried it too far....

Scott

1.) so for a transformer if the water is going down the pipe for the
primary side how does the Water ever get to the other side
to the secordary side of the transformer?

I was thinking ok a transformer changes electrical energy to
mechanical energy and then back from mechanical energy
    to electrical energy

Some how the water needs to Convert to a Force like Two
windmills connected to eachother the water sits in the buckets
in the windmills and as the Willmills turns from the forces and
transfers the water from one of the Primary windmill of the water
from bucket from the primary to a bucket to a secondary
windmill bucket it gets the water to the other side and the force
from the primary water coming down the pipes at a speed
to turn the Mindmills connected to eachother to transfer the
    water

So again the water travels down the pipe at a speed with pressure
the water from the pipe flows onto the primary water buckets
on the First windmill and moves the first windmill from the force and speed from the water traveling down the pipe  the Second
windmill connect to eachother like gears in a car to transfer
moves also because the first windmill transfers the motion
and both windmills are moving now and transfering the waters
from the primary buckets of water to the other windmills secondary
buckets of water this gets the water to the other side by doing
     it with Willmill buckets
The willmills can be different Sizes One big Primary windmill
and a Little Mindmill this would be a STEP DOWN transformer
Windmill . If its MUTUAL the windmills would be the same
       size connected together.

1.) Now for the Phase Shifts in water
i was thinking again and i at a water park and at the water park
there was a Pool that everyone got in this pool and could swim
but there was compressors or something making the pool at the
water park get Waves in the Water so u can Surf on them too
its like a Virual Ocean in a water Pool.

2.) Does anyone know what they do to get these Pools to make
    waves ?

3.) Because they are using Water to make Waves and this must
make the Water Phase shift because of the Waves?

Water analogy Phase shift rules and Objectives

1.) Waves are created by Wind
2.) its all about pushing water molecules together, which push on the molecules next to them and so on creating a periodic disturbance
3.) Basically, you push on the water at one point and this energy travels outward, through the surrounding water. This is the same thing that happens when you drop a rock into a pond.

Objective
1.) Want to make a water-pumping wave systems that uses pressurized air apply force
2.) Can do this by pushing on the water with air or a paddle

#1 analogy of a Wave Pool
Ok the water goes down the pipe and flows into a Water pool reservoir. At one End of the Water Reservoir is a
Exhaust Port this Exhaust Port Blows alot of Air like Wind to create a disturbance. The Exhuast port is connect
to a Pipe inside this pipe there is a ButterFly Valve in the middle of the Pipe, the Butterfly valve is Controlled by
a Hydraulic Piston the Hydraulic piston just moves the ButterFly Value opening and closing it , its very simple
instead of a Human opening and closing it you have a Hydraulic Piston Controlling the ButterFly Value to open
and Close it. Next down this Exhaust port thats connected to a Pipe is what makes the wind or air is the
High Speed Fan like in a SteamBoat or u can have a rotating paddle wheel or a oscillating plunger, u just
want to make alot of Air and Wind to flow down this Pipe and go out of the exhaust port to the water pool reservoir.
So just Picture a Tank of water with a Exhaust Pipe sticking out on the side above the water surface when the water level in the pool is balances out blowing alot of wind on the surface of the water to create waves. This gives Water a Phase Shift from the Waves

#2 analogy of a Wave Pool

Ok the water goes down the pipe and flows into a Water pool Reservoir#1 and the water level in the Water pool Reservoir#1 and balances out just
sits in the Tank of water with a water level and its balanced out its like when you buy Water like Arrowhead from the market
like a 2.5 gallon tank of water and u drink or let out half of the water u can see the Water level of the water. Now the next
part gets Water from another Source its in a different Room with a another pipe that gets its water and goes in a Pumping Room.
The pumping Room has a a 100-horsepower pump in a Tank of Water "not Reservoir#1 or #2" this tank of water
is also seperate. There is a Motor at the top of the 100 horsepower pump which spins a long drive shaft conneccted to a propeller positioned underwater. When the drive shaft spins, it rotates the propeller, which drives water upward through the pipe (in the same way a spinning fan drives air forward). Now  the water is pump into a water Reservoir#2 this is a different Reservoir than Reservoir#1 but this time at the Bottom of the water Reservoir#2 is a VALVE plate that is controlled by a Hydraulic piston just to open and close the Value to let water out of the Water Reservoir#2 out. When the Value opens the water goes out to a the Water pool Reservoir#1 to create waves. This also gives Water a Phae shift from the Waves
To get more Phase Shifts you would need 3 or 4 Horsepower pumps in the Pumping room with 3 or 4 different Reservoirs with Valves at the bottom of the reservoirs
to all go into Reservoir#1 "with the Balanced Water level" and dumps all 3 or 4 of the waters from the pumping room into Reservoir#1 to create massive waves giving
Phase shifts
