errors?

When I was kid we had a newspaper that had two pictures where the other had a few errors. Well, I hope these two are similar..




..hmm.. cannot get the picture to show in here..


Its a Neutron Filter drawn by hand with permanent marker. This method works for me because I make one effect at a time.

I've tried the photopaper/bakingpaper trick without luck.

How can you stand this tough work drawing it yourself? Your method takes too much time, there are easier ways to get the drawing on the bord. I must say that I have tried this marker method, but I didn't find it good.
About that paper - I guess you mean that method with printing the drawing with the laser printer and then Ironing it to the bord. Well I have tried many types of papers but the only one that gives really good result is the backside paper of stickers. You know these ORACLE self-catching films or something similar! Buy a piece of this film, take it off from the backside paper and throw out. Put the backside paper into the laser printer and print out the Mutron image. (feeling about that paper is that it is covered with parafin) Ironing takes about 5 minutes.
But  you should try photoresist - it is the easiest way believe me

Yes, I admit You are right. Yet (I like drawing) I find it kind of relaxing  :roll: It is really nice to consentrate on something - kind of therapy  :?

After printing I push with a screw the dot marks trough the paper on to the copper and then after removing the paper mark the dots with thicker marker. Then with very fine marker I connect the proper dots. After that, etch and drill and check with multimeter. It is actually guite fast because I have gotten used to it.  :lol:

Here are few boards waiting to be populated (orange squeezer x 2, tube driver, ross comp, couple of FF's, few millenium bp's, neutron filter etc.. I have more somewhere.. hmm)

I like to do as many phases of the DIY box myself as possible/meaningful.  :twisted:
