Wah paralel inductor resistor 0 ohm?

If i measure the 33k (paralel to inductor) resistor i get 0 ohm, also when i take this resistor out and then measure over the two points the resistor had been in I measure 0 ohm so it looks like these two points are connected? Or is this due to the paralel inductor?

I think the answer lies here, if I measure no resistance the inductor is ok, correct?

Lift just one leg of the resistor and then measure it (lifted leg to connected leg).  You should get 33k ohms.  Or measure the resistor out of circuit. Yes, you'll get 0 ohms across the holes because you are also measuring the inductor that is in parallel and since it is closed, you get zero ohms.  You want that.

the resistor 33k is ok, i'm now trying a 100k.

If you can somehow stuff a socket in each of the holes, that'll make it easier trying different values.  I like 68k myself.

i have tried a 68k, 75k, 90k, & 100k and I like the 100k the best for me.

I have a 100k in it now, i went back to stock for the 1k5 resistor and i reduced the 510 resistor to 470.

I'm now getting me a couple of bc109b's to try.

I'm trying to make a clyde mccoy out of my v847.
