I was thinking of building on of these amp/distortion pedals and was wondering how easy it would be to make this like an 'amp in a box' rather than a distortion pedal (by this a mean getting clean tones out of it), So I could use it to record into my laptop??
Would using one of the above circuits and the condor cab sim work???

The Matchbox sound sample was actually recorded with the bulldog cab sim, and it sounds great.
Thats why I keep plugging away at ROG builds... I know that when I get em right, they sound awesome!

Have fun.

I suppose a nice "amp in a box" would be:

[Your choice of ROG amp simulator] -> ROG Tonemender -> [Your choice of Cab sim]

As soon as I can get a working Tonemender built (I've built 3 bad ones) I'll let you know!
