Using a mosfet or other device in a ranger or fuzz circuit

I recently completed a Fuzz Face based around the Multi Face at ROG.
I used 4 qty 6 position rotary switches from Radio Shack to switch between 6 different input caps, 6 different output caps, 6 different stage one transistors and 6 different stage 2 transistors.  Some of the transistors I used were 2n7000, 2n5088, 2n3904, 2n222a, 2n3879, 2n4407, mpsa18, nte103a GE, and j201.

I really like the way it turned out, the thing has a lot of tone variations.
