Circuit bending a AXL JF-2 or DOD Flanger?

I just found one of these for a couple of ££ and was wondering about possible bending options. I know there is some way to change most flangers into noiZe machines but I just havn't worked it out yet! Has anyone ever bent any other flangers with good results? I'm also eyeing up a DOD flanger for my collection so any info towards destroying that would be welcome to!
