Technology of compressor/limiter circuits

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know a good link to a page that explains what's going on in the compressor/limiter circuits? I enjoyed the "Technology of..." articles at http://www.geofex.com/ but compressor circuits aren't covered there. I'm after similar descriptions of compressor circuits. I'd found stuff like that very helpful when figuring out what's going on with the effect circuits.

Any help appreciated.

While I appreciate the compliment, those in search of *real* information should check out this article posted in the archives at Electronic Musician magazine.  One of the very best I've ever seen.  Whatever it doesn't explain, I'd be more than happy to flesh out for you.
