I was looking through the Mouser catalog for incandescent bulbs for a Univibe circuit, and I came across these two.

The first one is rated for 12V and 0.060A, and is about 0.187" tall  (T-1 wire terminal):

The second one is rated for 12V and 0.040A, and it's about 0.625" tall (T-3/4 Bi-Pin Base):

Which one of these would be the best bet for the 'Vibe?  I'm thinking that the first one would be the one.

TIA!

I suggest you check out RG's Neovibe build notes.

The first one might draw too much current.

It would depend on which transistor you use for your bulb driver, normally a 25mA bulb is called for.

JC Maillet has some great info on this on his page: http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/pedalsUnivibe.html

As george has said, look at RG's stuff, he's really got the down-n-dirty on his site: http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/univibe/univtech.htm
