Im building an ABY box. I plan on buffering the inputs with an op amp follower. Is there any reason to buffer the output as well? Is there any reason not to?

EDIT: also - given the v high resistance of the op amp - what value would I use to determine the input capacitor?

I don't see the point in buffering it, so I think I wouldn't. The input buffers would give the  low output Z needed.

You would just wire switches, after the buffers, aren't you ? Switches and wire. So at the output, you'll see the input buffers.

But I can't assure you I'm right.

My rationale behind buffering the output would be to prevent another effect or amp from 'leaning' on the CD4066.

Yah, its probably overkill.
