Nice...a Vox MKII.  Same basic circuit as the Sola Sound ToneBender Professional MKII...just a couple of little component value differences.  Wish I had $1600 to drop on it!

Sure, but you have to pay for the unit...nice box and all, but kinda pricey for an old Fuzz Box.

OC81Ds are hard to get these days...and very expensive when they do show up.  It's mainly just more mojo nonsense.

Yep, and even all OC81 pedals don't sound exactly the same...
AC128's and NKT's will do just fine. At least my ears told me...
And by the way: the components look VERY fine for being 40 years old ?!...

I prefer a DIY MKII also because of the low output you get from stock vintage (choice of output resistors).

Off course it is the vintage cast box that really rocks...
