OPA2277 = NE5532 ? For Unvibed mod Phase 45

I built the Phase 45 w/Univibe mod and can't get an effect. I used OPA2277P's instead of NE5532's. Do the 2 dual op amps have to be NE5532's or did I just screw up somewhere else?
    Checked for shorts and misplaced wires and parts and everything checks out.... guess I'm grasping for straws at this point, haha!!
