Hi there, I recently build a scrambler clone. All was working good and proper until I added my sparkleboost in after the scrambler. Now there is an almighty hiss produced when I stop playing. Are there any solutions to this, or is it just a side effect from the scrambler/sparkle combination?

P.S Heads up to Dragonfly for the Sparkleboost, it's great!

it's probably because everything is being amplified so much.  Any kind of noise becomes easily heard.  it happens when I hook two distortion pedals together.
Hi Paul.  Welcome.  We are all Stompboxaholics

I am so cool.

I thought that would be it, nevermind    It already sounds horrible enough without a booster after it!

have you tried your boost before the scrambler?  that way you wouldn't amplify the noise coming from the scrambling.

Yeah, that just gave a total breakdown of all musical tone! heh, To be fair its not very musical when using it unboosted but it sure get nasty when you push it hard. I think you have a point, it doesn't distort - it scrambles.
