This part:

is the switch in the Ibanez PUE5 Tube Floor unit. It's about 7/8" square. It's an ALPS switch, but ALPS USA says it isn't in any of their catalogs back to 1998. If you happen to see anything like it in searching any of the surplus catalogs, do let me know. You'll help a lot of people if I can find stock!

SD I think ALPS is really a Japanese company. Can you give me the measurements and it would be better if you can send me a mechanical drawing of the switch. If I can find the switch or even a replacement i'll send some for you, I owe you one SD. There are more Japanese electronic parts available here in my country than U.S. or European so i'll try to look for the switch.

Unfortunately, I have no info--only the one piece. Dimensions:

It is not square. It is 15/32" x 7/16", The plunger is about 5/32" x 1/4", and it is about 1/8" tall. I would appreciate any help!

I found this..
http://www.bde.se/skat05_1.pdf  page 32, middle right...I think it could be close enough to be used after just breaking off the tip ( that is there to hold a knob )
1 pol, non latching, "snap-in" mounting 14x14x11 mm .....( there are two sizes, its the smaller one I'm thinking of )
have a look..

as I understand it, it's 20 SEK ( just under 3 USD ) for 10pcs....but you should probably send them a mail and ask..I never bought from them, just found the switch when browsing....
