The tranny finally died and I'm looking for the specs so I can replace it.  Any help?  Thanks!

Bill Bergman

I may be way off, but it's seems like it might be as little as 100ma. Doesn't it have the specs imprinted on the wallwart or is it interna?

Transformer is inside the pedal, not a wall wart.

The power supply is unusual. It requires +9 and -10. I built a suppy using a 24vac Ratshack transformer.

Is that 9+ and 10- DC?  I don't have a schematic at the moment but I'll dig one up.  Also, all the transformers I'm seeing now have a center tap.  Should I use 12 or 24?  I can't remember if its measured peak to CT or peak to peak.

Can't say for sure on an original on how it should be setup. Don't think tis will help much but here is a pic of mine...second from last http://www.freewebs.com/elroy2/  I'll try and find more info. It's been a while and I forgotten.

Searching for microsynth just got a list of emails of people asking for the schematic.  If anyone has it can they send it to:

Thanks alot.

It might be difficult to get a reliable mains transformer that small. I've seen small transformers fail, even when they aren't being run at double voltage!
