I was thinking about adding a switch to choose between 2 different input  caps for my fuzz face. How would i do this? I know this is such a beginners question but im horrible at switch questions.

Maybe a dpdt switch? Im wanting to make a bright/dark switch. what would connect to what?

sorry for such a simple question. Is there a diagram out there for this im missing or over looking??

Caps equate opposite to resistors
two caps of .1uf, paralleled will be double value or 2uf.
By switching one of them out you can have variable input cap value using a simple SPST switch.
Another way to do it is parallel the caps, [this halves the value] and use an SPST to short across one of them.
Another way is to use a DPDT switch, run the signal path through the 'middle lugs' and different sized caps on either path through the switch.

  Input  I switch I  Output
