I've just been browsing for Decals.  Has anybody tried this?

Dry Rub Off Decals

Looks interesting

That looks quite a good idea, depends on whether the "ink" will run when
you use a "top coat" of lacquer ..... ?
You may have to spray on a "fixer" coat first ? worth a try I guess.
I've used those "rub on" letters a couple of times and they work well,
though they are quite "basic" looking .... !

here's one, used on my Boss OD-1

Cool link Chris!  Pity I have nowhere I can spray, I doubt it would fare well without a coat of clear.

I'll probably use Dymo for mine - it looks suitably DIYish!

I know I'm stating the bloody obvious, but if anyone gives the transfers a go do a sample first.  Last time I use brush on lacquer with transfers it dissolved the lot (thankfully only a sample)!
