Cool, the one thing is this op-amp has a lower gain than others such as the OPA627.  Typ here is 85dB and the OPA is around 112dB.  Often to get the speed you nix a gain stage (also helps with stability).  This could lead to extra distortion.

No matter what, switching out the cheesy op-amp in your $50 CD player is not always trivial to a high-speed op-amp.

Funny thing, I was doing some research on cables, and on the newsgroups some guys were doing some research and believe it or not, Radio Shack cables were coming out near or on top. Drove the audiophools nuts. Basically it was lower in capacitance.

I wonder if that is because their cables have so little shielding?!
