I finaly got my Phungnosis working and i love it  :D  It has allot of quack and can really emphasise passages.

I included the aux plug for a drum machine and tried it out with the wah being controlled by it and me playing on guitar. When i plugged it in i noticed that the drum machine sound was coming through my amp while controling the sweep.

Is this meant to happen?

Thanks

Working from crappy memory [better than the computer's today]..
The aux input jack is one I can't name, but connects the input to the envelope detecter when there's not a plug in it, with a plug in it, disconnects the aux from the signal path input...the tip of the plug will push the jacks tip connector away from the 'other' little switch 'arm'...the jack will have a tip arm, and another one parallel but shorter with switch contacts.
Anyway these jacks are available at better parts sources and RS, or you could put a lift switch between the aux input to envelope detector and the signal path input.
You can check this with the DMM, look for continuity between teh inputs when no plug is in the Aux jack, and non-continuity when a plug is inserted.

I've got one of those plugs for my aux input so when i plug in a drum machine my guitar can't trigger the wah but only the drum machine can. The thing is that the drum machine is coming through the amp, is that meant to happen?

*FWIU, the aux input is used to trigger the envelope section to sweep. That you're getting drum machine in the signal path indicates it's not working right.

Looking at the circuit, I'd be suprised if you DIDN"T get at least some drum signal in the output, or at least some version of the drum signal.
Because, after thedrum signal is rectified, even with the smoothing cap, there is going to be some ripple going out.
DISCLAIMER: I havn't actually built it, so...

Hmm, well i'll try and have another look at it this weekend.  Hopefully its just a bad connection i've made. :)
