i have a YJM 308 pedal  that i'm having ANALOG MAN mod,but in order to save i want too make it true-by pass and change over the d/c plug to BOSS style the problem was when i changed over too BOSS style plug it didn't work.so i changed it back to my surprise that didn't work either? as i was checking all my wiring i touched the plug too the output jack and it came to life? why is this happening for one thing and can somebody show how to wire it up right with true-by pass, led and convert d/c plug too BOSS style.

The Boss style power jack needs to be grounded to the pedal's chassis in order for it to work.

True bypass wiring is easy. Just follow the wires in from the input and output jacks to figure out which wires goes where. The wire from the input jack will go to lug 2. The wire from the output jack will go to lug 5. You'll have to figure out the other 2 on your own. If you're familiar with pedal wiring you'll be able to figure it out. Short lugs 3 and 6 together. Place 1M resistors between lugs 1 & 2 and lugs 4 & 5 to prevent pops when switching the pedal ON and OFF.

The 3rd set of lugs on a 3PDT switch will be used for your LED

I thought about doing this to mine as well. I wanted to just change out the jack to a boss style jack but I might as well make it true bypass. Maybe add a blue led to it while im at it. :)
