Center detente footpedal?

I'm thinking I'd like to have a CV pedal that *detentes* in the middle of it's travel, and is spring tensioned to return to the center position. Kind of like the behavior of a synth pitch wheel. Does such a thing exist commercially? I've never used a Boomerang looper, but those little foot rollers might be the approach I'd want (rather than a spring loaded volume pedal, which sounds a bit hazardous). Any help appreciated.

I'd be interested to know if there is anything like this too. I was thinking of building something like a Splitter-Blend into a wah-type pedal, but I'd want to return to that middle 50/50 blend setting consistently and easily.
