1.
Channel A is the DOD 250; it is the "good twin" with nice and decent OD to fuzz.
Channel B is the Bazz Fuss; this is the "evil twin" with all the harshness of a multiple (12) person personality.

Both have seperate volumes so I can switch from A to B with a "channel selector" switch (right switch on pic). I also added a paralooper (or bass-thru as I call it) to blend in some clean sounds).

2. Nope; still need my mic back so I can make some samples. Will try soon.

3. Sorry, I have nothing like that; I am a simple Dutch boy with a good soldering iron and some schematics. Will try to make one.

Woah! Use Shorter wires!  :D

I just built a DOD OD250 too because some people at www.talkbass.com said it sounds good on bass. What mods have you done to it?

I replaced the input cap (0.01 (original) or 0.001 (newer) muf) with a 10 muf cap (try different caps to find own sound. I tried all from 0.01 to 10 and loved the 10 the most). This replacement opened up the pedal to bass; stock I had a slight volume drop on the lowest settings and did the unit sound a bit "weird". With the replacement I own a true overdrive with some weird "fuzzed" sounds at the extreme settings....

You can also replace the diodes (I used Ge diodes) with other diodes to get different sounds. I added a 12 stage switch to my fuzz box but did not find a way to implement it in my OD box, so I used the stock Ge diodes.

Oh, BTW, try a paralooper. I really like the way it can add some clean sounds under the OD / fuzz sound and opens up the sound a bit.

but, i still don't understand, did you split the signal to feed it into the BF and the DOD? ...or you just run it directly (passively) in the "two fronts"?

something like:

             |---------------- DOD OD
IN
             |---------------- Bazz Fuss

Bernardduur

Hope this helps:

SW2 switches between clean and gained;
SW1 switches between DOD and Fuss;
SW3 switches the MUD on and off.

Oh, and I suck in Photoshop

OK, update. I liked my DOD; I now LOVE my new build Fulldrive 2 clone (w/ mods a bass drive, fatness etc.).

OMG, this unit takes me lower and higher than the DOD; true OD from clean boost to most unheard FUZZ......... Man, do I love this unit.

Let us see how long this one will stay on my board.

Where did you get the schematic for the full drive?

General Guitar Gadgets (GGG) and look at the Tubescreamer at the distortion..... it turns out to be a "perfect" tubescreamer clone with some adds.

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=90&Itemid=118

I added some mods:
- Fat Tubescreamer from AMZFX (wow) http://www.muzique.com/misc/flat_mids.pdf;
- Added a compression cut (not in schematic) by removing the clipping diodes from the unit;
- Added a second clipping stage that can be selected instead of the stock.

No other mods were done.

The result.....

Wow........
WOW......
WOW!!!!!!!......

With the fat mod the unit comes alive for basses (made it switchable so I can use it on guitar also) and with the comp-cut mode it is a boost pedal that get the best out of my bass. Next dial in some clipping diodes and you are in distortion heaven..

After a long search I feel I have come to an end. I put the Fuzz in a seperate box so now I have total control.
