Good question !!! sounds a shade like a Rat with the drive backed off but for the price it sounds as good as a lot of the boutique stuff at ten times the price.

BZZT!  Sorry, not even close!  Yes, I've traced it out... NO, I'm not going to post a schematic - c'mon now, don't tell me you can't cough up $15 for something that sounds THAT good!!!

OK OK It bears a striking schematic resemblence to many a DOD pedal (NO, I'm not telling you which one), but AFAIK it's not a straight up clone of anything, even when you remove the electronic switching and look at the tone producing guts only.  That japenese mysterioso hype up is pure Dano marketing!  Either that or their reference is completely, completely obscure.  But it ain't no SD-9.

Those pedals are the shit. Well made and sound wonderful. I may buy them all. I've got the metal one already and it's a ton of fun.

I've been wanting to purchase this one for a while but no one here has it. (too cheap).

Now that I think about it, I bet it's a Coron distortion. I saw a real one and was able to check out the inside (didn't play it though).

Put it right on the pedalboard, and tie the wires down you should be ok for a while.
I had these kind, I didn't like that they break too easy and don't fix good, are hard to mod on, and it's probably in many cases [like mine] easier to just build one than figure out how to rebox it with TBypass Switch, solid case, metal shaft pots and 3 sturdy jacks.
GC'd probably sell a warranty with this product?
Akron Music was really good about my broken Fab Tones exchanges....broken?...here, have another... [slight differences, one to the next]
15 a pop, 'tis hard to compete with that.

I just ordered one so I will be able to check it out. I will post the topology when I get it.

Yeah, the "FAB" range look much more "solid" than the "Mini" series :D
