I got my first order from RSH electronics this week and was very impressed. The even held it back for me to include some more items I wanted. The 3PDT switches are fantastic and I can now add them to the few pedals I have built that won't work with the Millenium Bypass. It's good to know I can now get them at a decent price in the UK. I have no connection with RSH other than being a satisfied customer,

Which pedals didn't work with the millennium bypass?

I ask because I have built quite a few and all have worked with it, I'm just curious.

I'd like to know about that too. Just off hand, I don't know a pedal that can't for some reason work with the Millenium. If that reason exists, I'd like to find out about it.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

I built a dynacomp clone from Torchy's layout and couldn't get the millenium bypass to work with it. I tried two different LED boards which I tested in another pedal where they worked perfectly and the light was on constantly with this circuit. The actual dynacomp circuit works so well I sold my BOSS CS2. I have had some trouble with a couple of other pedals with germanium transistors in them, notably a rangeblaster where the light would go off and then come back on slowly over about 30 seconds up to full brightness. Again, I tried a couple of LED boards which worked perfectly in other circuits. There are 1 or 2 others I have had the constant lighting problem with and one where I increased the value of the resistor to prevent a dull glow from the LED even when 'off'. I have used the Millenium 1 and 2 and it has not made any difference.
I have built all my pedals on stripboard either to my own design or from this forum, I don't know if that it the reason I have had trouble with a few designs. In the main the Millenium bypass has worked very well for me and in a live situation when you can't hear yourself very well the indicator light is a big bonus,
