NPN neg grd Rangemaster layout

I am in the process of changing my PNP pos grd Rangemaster (2nd link) into a NPN, neg grd version for the sake of sharing a power adapter.  Unfortunately, I just completed my Smallbear order prior to the availability of the OC41 (Doh!!!)  

Instead of reversing the polarity of the LED, caps and battery terminals I followed the PNP, neg grd layout (1st link).  Since my transistor is NPN, what else do I need to do to my layout?
