Jfet preamp/boost schematic

And has been adjusted to work at 9 volts ( closest r values )
A gain pot and other modifications can be done, but "as is" it sounds
very clean and gives a nice boost, enough to break up a tube amp's front
end.
I used electro caps for thepower and bypass values and "poly" caps for the others,
coupling cap and output can be 1uf poly's

Nice one, Marty.  I love simple circuits like this.  I just may have everything to make that one too....lol.  I have a week vacation coming week before Christmas so I plan on doing lots of breadboarding and even perfing a few things.  This one's on the list.
