Using a small circuit board type pot in TR2 mod?

Would it be alright to use a small pot, like one that you would solder into a pcb in place of the r9 on the TR2 tremolo circuit board? This pot is tiny, it is from 0-10k and is so small that you have to use a very small flathead screwdriver to turn it, i.e. the knob is a flathead screw.

I don't see why it'd be a problem unless it looks like it would be.

You mean a trimpot?

Yeah, there's no reason that shouldn't work.

I used a regular 16mm Alpha Pot when I modded my TR-2.
