J 201 MPF 102??

Hey I built what is close to a couple of 2.5 boosters from AMZ ...Two minibooster put together.. I only used .1uf caps as that was the old way he had done it and I liked the sound... Man with 4, J201 I have to put a 470K between them and one at the end and a 002uf cap to ground because this thing has gain to spare...I mean to spare!!! :shock: ...I have farchild J201 and some fairchild MPF102 ...If you would do another would you put MPF102 on top cause man I like the gain or would you put a 1K resistor on the bottom source?? and use 4, J201 again.. How are the fairchild MPF102 are they fair or are they weak others have had troubles with the MPF102?   Thes two pedals really need to be toned down I dont know why everybody says use all J201 cause if you do you will squel and need to tweak it a bunch...This thing really makes my little 20watt tube amp sing   ...Thanks
