How can I ger rid of fuzz control noise?

I forgot to ask this last time. Is there some way I can get rid of the pot noise when adjustng fuzz on silicon Fuzz Face copy? It makes a hell of a scratching noise. Even more than the original FF and I can't figure how to at least minimize it.

That just sounds like either :
A - Bad pot
B - Dirty pot
C - Overheated pot when you installed it

I have about 15 different "Fuzz" builds and none of them have had that
problem, unless the pot was bad/rescued from an old effect & dirty.
Get some "contact spray cleaner" - the one that DOESN'T leave any
residue and give it a blast/twiddle to see if it will clean up.
It shuld be alcohol based and evapourates totally
