Hello, I just saw a page with a copy a of a fooltone  OD , I've read here that the bassdrive is the same design with other input caps, is this true??? because if the mods are simple I'll try to build mine , plus the extra boost would really kick some serious ass

another question is: they say there is a fuzz knob to add diodes into the signal path, I know that the guv'nor uses two red leds as diodes, if I change the stock diodes by to red leds, will it have a guv'nor sound???

Any help would be really cool

I really enjoy the Bass Drive I made by adding a fat mod to a Fulldrive.... man, on bass this puppy is unbeatable.

The boost is most usuable (two different settings into one switch) and on the compcut it can be a clean boost  (so real boost )

It used Ge diodes stock I guess, so it does sound different than LED's but you can add some LED's to it and make it sound the way you like it. I added some 1n4002's to the diode path (switchable) and that makes the pedal into another beast. Try all kinds and see what you like.

I'm going to build a phat fulldrive like your but with an extra clean boost inside the circuit (two stompboxes in-a-box) :prolly a bass modded Mini booster :twisted:

So , I'm going to look a little bit at the circuit and try to check everything out!!
