Is the MXR Blue Box (Jim Dunlop Reissue) true bypass?

I just picked one of these up and one of the first things I noticed was that it passed signal when bypassed, despite the fact that it wasn't connected to a power supply. I had a look inside and the switch is a DPDT, so I'm wondering if it uses a millenium type bypass? Short of pulling the whole thing apart and tracing out the switching scheme, does anyone know if this is in fact the case?
