The pedal is a BOSS DD-3.
I've searched around with an audio probe all day long, and checked the diode.  Nothing seems out of place.  All I get is clean sound no matter what.  The LED switches on and off, but no real change in sound.  Is there a way to check if you've burned an IC?  I really need some help here...

Check the 5V regulator.  If that's burned out, nothing digital will work.

oops.  I was using the direct out instead of the output

Problem fixed.  Thanks anyways!

I'm looking at the DD2 schem... can you please be so kind and point out where that's at? Thanks...

From memory, since I don't have it in front of me, it's on the left hand side of the page, about halfway down, marked 7805.  Trace the power input from the left, it goes directly to the regulator.

Ah! I think I see it...

Man!, I really hope I can fix this (I was actually thinking about getting a Behringer delay pedal!   )
