I have a Ibanez CF7 Tone Lok Chorus Flanger Pedal, that sucks tone big time. Can this be made into a true bypass pedal?

I recent got information (schematic and parts list) here to make a DOD 250 true bypass -- an engineering friend will help me with the job.

If anyone knows and can share info on the Ibanez CF7, I'd really appreciate it.

I believe Keely did it with the TS9, although it's not the ton lok series.
Also you'll need a new switch and have to drill a hole in it some how. I would be interested to know how you made out!!

Maybe you can desolder the input and output wires and jump the buffers between the electronic switch system and the jacks.

Well... no. Hey, like I said on the other thread, I know nothing about electronics. I'm going to get my buddy to give me a crash course on the DOD 250. I was hoping to mod the Ibanez too at the same time. If this works out, I'll take the next step and try to build a fuzz pedal from scratch -- a primer would definitely help me understand the stuff I've read so far.

It might be too difficult without ruining the pedal. I would make an A/B box.

Thanks Aron!
