I bought some a while back to use with my bubble jet just for fun ... here's what I've done:

@ modded pedals ... neither are Keeley etc.... but variations of mods and trial and error :)

Note: to make this work, as the decals are transparent, you have to sand of the "Super Overdrive" ect letter from the pedal with 600 grit wet sandpaper. Be careful to just remove the lettering and not the paint

the mods or the decals ??? Here's both ...

The decals were designed in photoshop, these are Xerox Window Decals bought at Staples Bussiness depot in Canada ( I'm sure they're available elsewhere too ! ... )

It's a transparent adhesive film so the decal just has my logo and the pedal name and the color of the pedal shows through anything that was drawn in white.

used 600 grit sandpaper to wet sand the Boss "print" off.

Here's the re-order # 544P15711 "Xerox Color Inkjet Window Decals" and
at about $13.50 Canadian for 5 sheets they are not cheep ....

Printed them out using a canon bubble jet best quality with the paper set to transparency and obviously color.

The mods: "Kickin' Carrot" is here with sound clips:

And the "Freak Box" is just too crazy to mention!  ... It's basically the Mr Happy pedal I built by hand but I used an SD-1 to closley duplicate the circuit. It's way easier as there's less wiring and cheap to buy. I can have one up and running in a hour ;)

SD-1 Mod 1 ... "Freak Box"

Very Tubescreamer-ish

All caps are Panasonic Metal Film, Resistors Metal Film as well

1. Replace 4558DD with RC4558P
2.  C1,C3 - .047 ( same value just better cap )
3.  C2,C7,C10 - 1uf
4.  C4 - .22uF
5.  Remove C6
6.  C8 - .1uf
7.  R4, R17 - 10K
8.  R7,R9 - 1K
9.  R16 - 100 ohm
10. R2 - 620k
11. D4 - 1n4001 and 1N34 series
12. D5 - 1N4001
13. D6 - 1N4001 and 1N34 series

The diodes arrangement comes from Brian's F&*&^ F^&^%$ mod ... the rest was taking a peak at the circuit and making it more Tubescreamer like.

I didn't want to duplicate the TS808 circuit with this, which would require quite a few more changes, I wanted to get the sound of my Modded TS808 with a bit of that FullDrive clipping with minimal part swapping. Use 2 914/4148 diodes to get more of a TS808 clipping style.

My studio is dead ( lost the boot drive! ) so no soundclips yet but I'll post some eventually.

Here's another:

SD-1 Mod 2 ... "Big Yeller Mod" Nice Fat and gainy!

All caps are Panasonic Metal Film, Resistors Metal Film as well

1. Replace 4558DD with RC4558P

2. C1,C8 - .047uf ( same values just better caps )
3. C2,C7,C10 - 1uf
4. C4 - .018uf ( same value better Cap )
5. Remove C6
6. R9 - 2.4k
7. R2 - 620k
8. C3 - .1uf
9. R6 - 2.4K

Basically sounds like an SD-1 but bigger!

Enjoy ...
