I should be "slaped around the face with a large fish"

"I appologise unreservedly" - as John Cleese said to Kevin Kleine, dangling from the window in "A fish called Wanda"  !!!

Reason ..... ?
I had a "BIG" error in my build of this "wonderful" Fuzz/Octave, in short,
the whole "front transistor" section was in a wierd "loop", which kind of
cancelled out the whole "Fuzz" and gain section !!!

NOW FIXED .... and with the correct 1k8's in there too,

----- IT SOUNDS HUGE/FAB/NASTY/HEAVY METAL/NIGHTMARE -------

Just wanted the following folks to know :  " I'M SORRY "   !!!

Brian
RDV
RG
Pete
Paul M
Dirk
Joe

etc etc

Not to write off everything that comes up front, but make a mental note of the mid-scoop filter.  I'm sure you'll agree that the menacing quality of the SF comes with the scoop engaged.  Consider transposing it to other circuits you've built.

Mark, "what a difference one bad connection can make"  !!

The "scoop" setting is just frightening  !!
I take back everything said about this circuit, even from those who built
it "right" in the first place, "SuperFuzz" is just that .... SUPERB  !!

Marty.  :D

BTW now it sounds like RDV's sample ... but on steroids !!
